Applications are invited for various technical positions in NIT Silchar Assam, specifically for the position of Project Associate-I for the DST-SERB (CRG) sponsored project titled "Sign Language Translator for Identification of Health Conditions of the Deaf and Dumb Population for Medical Attention" in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Essential Qualification:

BE/B.Tech/M.Sc./M.Tech or equivalent degree in branches relevant to the project from a recognized University.

Desirable Experience:

Research/Project experience in the field of Machine Learning/Deep Learning.


Salary:

  • Rs. 31,000/- per month for scholars who have qualified GATE, NET, or any other national-level examinations conducted by Central Govt. Department and their agencies and institutions.
  • Rs. 25,000/- per month for others who do not fall under the above category.

Age Limit:

35 years (as of the closing date of the application). Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PWD candidates as per Govt of India Rules.
